IELE's methodology

With our methods, learning Spanish will be a natural and easy task

INSTRUCTORS

Inma Angel María

All of our teachers at IELE are native speakers, who hold degrees in Filología Hispánica (Spanish language, Literature and Culture). Our professors have years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language and regularly attend seminars and other courses to be constantly advancing and improving their teaching technique. The average age of IELE's instructors is 30 years.

TEACHING METHODS

Methods are adapted to suit four different ability levels:

  2. Intermediate
  3. Advanced
  4. Superior
  • Texts/information put together by our team of instructors
  • Conventional methods
  • Authentic documents as well as computers and audio-visual aids

OBJECTIVES

  • Oral expression and comprehension
  • Written expression and comprehension
  • Knowledge of the modern Hispanic world

COURSE ORGANIZATION

  • Assessment test upon arrival
  • Homogenous group organization (by ability level)
  • A maximum of 8 students per group

USUAL SCHEDULE

One's schedule depends on the type of course, but normally it is as follows:

  • From 10:00 to 13:30 with a 30 minute break
  • Evenings and afternoons are principally reserved for our cultural program and optional activities.

YOUR LEVEL

On arrival at IELE there is a written test, and an oral evaluation with a teacher who will help you to decide on the most appropriate course and level. In IELE we have four competency levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Superior. Students of a similar level study together with a maximum of eight people per class.

CERTIFICATES

At the end of your studies, a Certificate of Participation will be awarded. Full details of your course content, attendance, progress and level of Spanish attained will be specified.
